ELEGANT REGAL NECKLACE SETS

These are my latest sets. It almost took forever to complete and kept running out of threads.

The most interesting part is that, from my mistakes, I created a different style altogether.

Tools - size 10-12 beading needles
             Fire line size 8lB and 10lB beading Thread
             Lighter or Thread Zapper
            Loads and Loads of Seed beads, Tiger Eye Beads, Crystal Beads and metal beads.

I know I am doing too many things at the same time, but Hopefully, I will be having Tutorials soon.

CRYASTALS AND CRYSTALS. VERY SPARKLY

I was so excited when I was creating this, because I did not know if it will come out right or not, as it was my first time creating such a piece, but believe it or not. It came out perfect surprisingly.

This was fun creating, once I have my favourite wire guard, tiger tail, crimping tool, and off course the most important tool BEADS!!!!

6 ROWS DEEP PURPLE AND MAUVE SET EMBELLISHED WITH A BROOCH!!!

I used Magnetic 6 row clasp
Tiger Tail
8mm Faceted beads
1 Large Purple crystal brooch
For the earrings. I did beaded bead earrings embellished with pave ball bead crystal
The bracelet is 4-5 rows that you can wind round your wrist.
But please have loads of patience when doing this and one most important tool I forgot is the
STOPPER BEAD - THIS IS A MUST HAVE, If you do not want your beads rolling away or even starting all over again. Watch out, very soon I will be showing this on you tube.

THE FAMOUS MULTI ROW BEADED NECKLACE

This is one very popular design amongst Africans, especially Nigerians. I needed motivation to do this, because I know, its not something you will complete in 30 minutes.

I used loads of 8mm faceted Chez crystal beads
Tiger tail
8mm crystal clear Diamante beads for embellishment
6 Rows Magnetic Clasp, Wire guard, 6mm silver beads, earring Findings and Head pin
and the not so secret that makes your jewellery stand out, the famous BROOCH

It is beginner to intermediate, just be a patience beginner.

When you wear this jewellery, you will feel a million dollar.

Priming my face with Milk of Magnesia

IS THIS FELT BEADS OR VELVET BEADS

Whenever you enter a Bead shop or store or even any jewelry store, you must definitely see all sorts of beads; ranging from Gemstones, Faceted Crystals, ABS Beads, Acrylic Beads, Findings and all sorts. If you already have a good knowledge of Beads, then you would not worry when you site the popular known ones, but is suddenly you stop and site a bead that looks strange, then you would definitely Pause and wonder what you have missed.

That was the effect the Felt/Velvet looking beads had on me, when I came across it.

They are absolutely beautiful and I did not bother to check the balance on my account and ordered immediately.

They have the feel of felt beads and velvet beads. Although the base is Acrylic beads, but it is firm to touch and has a bit of sparkle to it, when moved around like the AB beads

When it finally arrived, I could not wait to create something with it and finally came up with this.

WHY DO WE BEAD?

Majority start Beading for Pleasure and maybe later have business in mind. While for others is to be creative. But one thing beading does to everyone, is the excitement that you are creating your own custom made jewellery, without out splashing out so much money in one of those high street shops.

My first one made me want more beads, before you know it, I started looking for courses in beading. One good thing though, is that you meet others like yourself, who cannot stop. At least you are not the only one mad about beading

My very first one looked like this

Turquoise Gemstone beads is almost owned by everyone that collects Gemstones.

I used the knotting technique in between beads and tried using Gimp, jump ring and large lobster clasp to finish it.

I definitely received a lot of compliments, but was still worried it might fall off my neck. I was more concerned of the clasp coming loose, instead of enjoying the beaded jewellery on my neck
